Silica-free alternatives are now available from Chinese factories, including quartz-free engineered stone and porcelain benchtops, which are fully legal and perform comparably. We send you physical samples before production (or can reference specific slab codes from Italian quarry books that Chinese factories replicate). For custom colourways, we can also produce small sample tiles before committing to a full slab order.What are typical lead times for stone?＋
Stock slabs in standard colours can ship within 2–3 weeks. Finished benchtops cut to template need 3–5 weeks ex-factory plus 4–6 weeks sea freight. We can airfreight urgent orders when needed.
